In an Inc. magazine interview Scott Cook, the founder of Quick Books, was asked if he has rules in business.  He named three - here is #2 "Get a coach. Because people aren't going to tell the boss what you need to know about yourself. Bad news never travels all the way up. Why is selling so hard?  Because, the media uses headlines, that are often negative, their purpose is to create a reason to read or watch what they say;  their system makes selling harder. Sales people use media words, which unlike the headline, of an article, contain words that confuse people by creating uncertainty.
