"The beauty of golf and selling is that you set the agenda most days. If you are prepared and you go at the day well organized you see the right customers, you set appointments with prospects and you make progress towards your quotas and your life goals. In golf much the same thing happens as you play the round. Here is the real link between a golf day and a sales day. Most days we start with enthusiasm. On a good day, as each successful activity builds one upon another, at the end of the day you feel great. You feel great about what you have produced, because nobody stands over you to do this work. You are responsible. It is a powerful feeling.

What if your golf game went the same way? What if as you start out you are ready to get going. You build on a series of successful events. As you come to the 18th hole you are energized by hitting targets, not disappointed by a score. You have done all this and you know that you can do it again and again. This is one of the most important visual links in your body between golf and sales. If you set the right agenda and follow through with it, then you create a reliable system of success.

The perfect golf swing is an illusion for most golfers. Take a look at the men and women on the tour. All of their swings vary based upon their body style and how they learned.

As cross training works in sport, cross training of your mind will work in golf and selling."

Using my system, you can build your own swing that allows you to hit targets throughout every round. In this section, I am going to show you several ways to see your swing and ways to remember it like the professional golfer is able to remember their swing.
